Confused over Nintendo DS Lite?

Hi all,

I wanted to buy one of these as a gift - and havent a clue about gaming etc! Are these for adults? I just checked John Lewis and they all seem sold out and im now worried i wont get one before xmas?

Any advice where to get any for an ok price - if i were to see it on Amazon, would JL reduce the price accordingly? Im looking for the unit plus the brain train games.....and its for a man so cant really get pink :D

Any thoughts oh experts out there!!!!

Adults or children as they have a large range of games.

Do a Kelkoo search for a best price on-line (loads of other compare sites, just do a Google search for 'Compare Sites' (UK).

Don't trust Amazon at this time of the year, I never have a problem with them throughout the year but at Christmas they never fail to let me down, they have done it before and the other week I ordered a Sat Nav that was in stock, after the estimated dispatch date I checked the order to find they were no longer selling the item it was only being sold via a marketplace seller.

JL are 'never knowingly undersold' but that probably only applies to the high street.

DS lite is for children you and old (like me  )

There is a huge range of games available for it, from an electronic pet pony, to mind training games, recepie books and on and on

They are generally reviewed as about the best overall hand held console for usability, graphics etc. Can not really watch movies etc as you can with a Play Station Portable, but apart from that I love mine

The problem you will have (and sound like you are encountering now) is find them in stock in places. But if you hunt around the internet and shops themselves, you should be able to find one ok. Just a small tip, if you are buying for a guy dont get Pink :rotfl:

I got a good deal from a local games shop which matched argos and the local chain stores. I would rather help out a small business with custom - but I would suggest try to play the shops off with each other to get a good price.
