This one, I keep thinking that in the section about Getting the Cheapest Foreign Cash, there ought to be a warning that if you order online and pay with some Visa Debit cards, you'll get a whopping surcharge, but you won't find out about it until it shows on your bank statement! Which I find really sneaky.

I don't know how widespread it is, but it's happened to me with Smile, twice because I forgot the second time I did it what had happened the first time I'd used that card! :mad:

I know once when I was buying over the counter, the cashier told me there would be a surcharge, so I nipped round the corner and withdrew the cash from the hole in the wall, saving myself a few quid.
