Getting a credit card while on sabbatical

My 0% interest credit card deal is coming to an end, so I want to pay that one off out of my savings then find another 0% deal. Problem is, I'm currently on sabbatical from work until September next year, and I'm studying for a Masters. I have no real income but I do have a secure job to return to next year. Question is, when applying for a credit card, do I put down my employer's details/usual salary even though I'm not working there at the moment? How likely is it that I would get accepted for a card with no income - anyone got any experience of this?

I'd imagine it's very unlikely.0

I would assume that being on sabbatical for a year you would have made financial allowances to alot yourself a monthly income to see you through that year.
I would say that figure could be used as a household income figure for the purposes of an application, though I'd agree with YB not to put down your usual employers details/salary etc. Any state income received could also form part of your hosehold income which also should be included.0 -
Thanks all - I applied for the M&S Money card, as it asked about household income, so I was able to put down Mr Agent C's earnings, and have been accepted for the card. :j0
