Hi, Im looking for a basic sat nav for my partner. Doesnt have to be anything swanky as it would be just to get her started off.
Does anyone know any cheapish ones for sale that are not too bad
?
Thanks

You won't go far wrong with an entry-level model from Garmin or TomTom.
My preference at the moment would be a non-widescreen Garmin Nuvi 250 over a TomTom One, but prices vary by the day so you'd need to check out the price comparison sites.0 -
Asda were advertising one in the papers today for £50 if you want absolute bargain basement. A TomTom is considered the dogs, with the basic one around £90/£100 dependent on offer price.
I bought a Garmin cheapo three years ago (£99, when the cheaper ones were £150) and it did me fine for two years.0 -
I saw a Binatone sat nav in thursday's mirror £50 , but you will get what you pay for."Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0
