Whats the most you seen people have? The holiday went for 440000 points, the plasma is at 225000 at the moment. But it's not a very good make aswell as you are only allowed oner 'big' prize per account.0
-
I have 242k points last registered bid for the car for me was at 432000
-
cheap car for 44000 points but the other stuff is far overpriced, i only do the lowest unique priced auctions now.0

I have only just started to get into this Kit Kash and I don't understand how the 5 minute auctions work - I was going to buy loads and loads of 36 multipacks from Asda but thought I would wait until I saw what happened on the car auction today. As luck would have it I got stuck in traffic and couldn't get home in time to watch it. Why did it go for so little when the plasma TV of uninspiring make is already up to 200+ thousand??? sorry if the answer is something really obvious but I don't get it.Jane

Thanks Guys,
I am a late starter but making the most of it!0 -
In 5 mins there are only a certain number of bids possible and it is pointless bidding until the very last second when you will be competing with hundreds of other people. if you have an office full of people all logged in to your account and keying in a bid with half a second to go, you will have a much better chance.0

Good thinking with getting a whole room involved with bidding - shame me and my laptop and 2 babies can't join in (I jest... it doesn't really matter because I'll be winning the Euro Millions next week/year/decade!! lol).
In the meantime, I believe I have grasped the general idea of the unique lowest bid system, the only thing I don't know is - if you don't win, are your tokens/points taken, or do you get them back to have another go?
Thanks again all for the codes!

Yes you get them back if you haven't got the lowest bid.I tried for one today but was too stingy I think LOL...0
-
Lol at your stingi-ness (if there is such a word? - if not, I'll patent it!)
Thanks for the info - I didn't bid much either, but good to know I haven't lost them either.
Always worth a shot then at all of the unique auctions (if I can remember to log in from time to time!).
