I'm moving in to a rented property on Saturday and have been told the phone line has been disconnected. We won't really use the landline to make any calls since we've all got mobiles with inclusive minutes however we do want to get Sky installed (TV and broadband).
Firstly so you need a BT landline to get Sky and if so if I call BT will they be able to reconnect straight away and provide me with a phone number?

Not much help i can offer, but you definitely DON'T need a BT phoneline to have sky. We have had a Bulldog/Pipex line and had no problem getting sky.** i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay **0 -
