Are you sure you haven't just deleted the link? Is the program still in your Program Files folder? Was it a free trial?
If it's really gone, I'd assume it is on one of the disks that came with your computer. I have known Windows to just go nuts and remove things. My cousin turned his PC on awhile ago to find it had restored itself from his recovery partition, erasing everything on it, and my fiancee's PC installed Microsoft Works the other day all by itself.0 -
If you wipe the comp it all goes, you need to re install... good luck

Was it actually the full version of Office, or just a trial? If it came bundled with your PC, there's a chance it could be the latter.
The chances of it having just vanished are microscopic.
The chances of someone uninstalling it by accident are also very small.
Presumably you've looked in the "All Programs" list rather than just for a desktop shortcut, which would be relatively easy to delete.0 -
when i bought the pc from currys it was allready on it ?????i have dislexia sorry about my spelling :eek:0

Are you sure it wasn't just a trial? Unless you specifically paid money for it then generally its just a trial which is put on.
Try OpenOffice instead which is free. http://www.openoffice.org0 -
Nick,
You need to read her previous thread to understand what happened...
Open Office, then?
Ah, OK. Thanks for the info!
Right, three options:
1: If it was a full version of Office then you should have been give a backup disc, so you'll need to reinstall.
2: If it wasn't a full version and you really want MS Office (rather than OpenOffice) then go to www.software4students.co.uk - given that you've at least one child in full time education.
3: OpenOffice is the freebie alternative.0
