Car Warranty
Options
Hi, Can anyone advise me please....
We bought a car in Jan 07 and took out a 3 year warranty (which has proved totally useless, tried to claim twice and was told not covered), anyway, in September our car was written off and we have over a year left of 'cover' under the warranty. We have phoned and asked for a refund and they said that they will not give us a refund as the policy is a 3 year policy regardless. Can they do this. Surely as there is no car to insure, there is no point in having a policy?!
Thanks in advance.

I doubt you will get a refund. Who did you buy the policy off? Cause if it was a dealer they charged you £300 say and paid the insurer may be £100 so the insurer won't be able to pay say £100 back to you.0
