    Got the response today - unsuccessful. Just said that although we can't disclose exactly why I should know there was nothing derogatory on my report, I just didn't make the minimum requirement to get one of these cards on Amex's credit scoring system and if I wish to appeal I can write to above ot to worry, it isn't vital to get a card, I have no debt just wanted to build my credit rating.

    Well and buy myself a PS3 interest free! Needs the savings for the deposit...

    Maybe try again in 6 months time and you may be lucky :D I'm sure the PS3 can wait.
