Natwest International 'EcoGrowth' investments

Options
This is my first post to the forum but reading some of the earlier post makes me think I will get some good advice here...

Wanted to find out if it is wise to invest in Natwest's Ecogrowth investment.
This is a plan in which the deposit will be placed into a 4 year account with returns(after 4 years) based on the performance of 'RBS Green Index'

Thanks, JB

  • I bought into the rbs version of this recently ,timepsan 3.5 years.

The basis is that you invest in this with a garunteed capital return should the "index go lower" , you had to have the same amount in an linked interest account which i got for 8 percent. The interest rate is garunteed for one year on the deposit account for me , and god only knows what it will be after that.

I needed some locked away for a timespan for a self build project at the end of it.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
  • Thanks Chopper Harris.
The one from Natwest is slightly different.
It gives me fixed returns on 1/3 of the amount but totally dependent on the green index for the other 2/3.
I'm at a stage where I can think of locking my money for 4 years but wondering if their green index is one of the best places to do so.
