Lost interest on ISA transfer.

I recently changed my ISA provider. I had a letter from my original provider to say that it was transfered on the 29thOoctober. It was credited to my new account with my other provider on 14th December. That's 16 days lost interest.
I rang my new provider and was told that they received it on the 12th November.
I6 days is a lot to lose. Is this right?

Write to both companies demanding that they come to an agreement within 14 days to reimburse the lost interest. The fairest agreement would be for them to both pay interest for the missing days by why of compensation.
My best guess is that your old ISA provider was a bit slow getting the cheque in the post. Equally though, the new provider may have been a bit slow banking it.
Shocking service.
Name and shame them please.0 -
It's possible. The ISA transfer system (bank A sends cheque through post to bank
is slow and unreliable.
