Newquay airport fiasco !!

Newquay Airport is to close for 3 weeks, so anyone with a flight in to Newquay had better check with their airline, Ryanair have cancelled (4 days notice) Airsouthwest are stopping at Plymouth and busing down to Newquay.

We were flying out to Alicante and now we're not, thanks Ryanair!!

Just need to wait and see if we get any money refunded? :mad:

    I would imagine you will get a refund, but its not ryanairs fault if newquay are closing the airport

    Thanks Cornwall County Council you mean (and the RAF but you better not be nasty to them in case they bomb your house)

    It's incredible what you learn on this site. You can fly from Newquay to Plymouth. Does the plane take off or just drive there?

    On a more serious note, Cricks, I really hope you are able to get a refund and you are able to make other travel arrangements. It is disgraceful, but out of their hands no doubt. Perhaps better management in the future me thinks!!! Fingers crossed for you, and many thanks for bringing it to our attention. My dad lives in Altea, and comes to visit all the time, so will give him the heads up with it also. Thanks again!
