Ordered some books and a CD at the beginning of November from Amazon.

Finally recieved 3 of the items after a 7 week wait, and an email to say that my other item (which was supposed to be a Christmas present!) will take a further 4-6 weeks.

I think that is a shocking delivery service- I've had a new suite delivered quicker than that!

when you order items from amazon you are normally given a time scale at check out for how long the items will take to deliver and whether you want part shipment or items delivered all together ? (i assume seeing as you have had part of the items delivered you chose part delivery) what time scale was offered to you at the time of the initial order ? ? if this was not honoured then maybe Amazon owe an apology ? ?

I was given a delivery date of 11th Dec, but the stuff didn't arrive till about 10 days after that.

I didn't choose part delivery, they sent the part of it that was ready, and an email about the last part (thankfully, so at least I had part of the Xmas present)

I just won't use them again.
