also is the no advantage blue account the basic current account with no monthly fee.
    Hiya

I think this depends on the facilities you are accepted for. As far as I know the 'blue' bit is a tag on to either a basic bank account (i.e step a/c) or standard current. The charge for this is £6.95 a month.

    What did you apply for?

Sorry just re-read your thread. You've applied for a current a/c. You will prbably be told what facilities they will offer you and you can opt whether or not you want to 'upgrade' to Advantage Blue

Don't know how long it takes to hear if you have been accepted.

    thanks
Didn't it tell you at the end of the application? If you have been accepted they will send you the document out to sign and return. HTH
  • I thought they told you straight away?

Not online. It took my brother ages to get accepted and get all the relevant information he needed from them, so I wouldn't say quickly! That was only a basic account though. Depends on how busy they are I'd suspect.

When I got Natwest account (online) it told me I'd be accepted at the end of the application

    Breezy ;)
  • I was told it even tells you what OD you can have and whether you're eligible for a credit card, during the application process...

Unfortunatly not although I know when you apply for things in branch there is a screen of what they will offer you. Maybe thats what you are thinking about?

You had three options 'Car breakdown', 'Mobile insurance' or 'No Advantage Blue'. If you ticked 'No Advantage Blue' then you will have a free account.
