*Pontins get-a-ways starting £57 per adult*

Went to Southport pontins 3/4 yrs ago for weekend. Chalet smelled foosty.Butlins even b4 they upgraded was miles better

Went to Camber Sands Pontins. Should of realised when we arrived how bad it was going to be. There was a queue waiting for customer services to open, all to complain particularly about fleas etc. Our chalet was mid priced. It was dreadful. I itched and itched sleeping on this most revolting bed settee. The best laugh we had was the entertainers rowing with each other during a show, the curtain kept being opened and shut, such a shame only a handful were watching cos it was far better than any of the official entertainment. Spend more to stay at Butlings, or Havens, or Weststar.

fleas?! i'm allergic to them, right, i'm definitely not going lol! do they allow animals in the chalets?

Oh my gawd! I'm not going either! Didn't think anywhere could be worse than Butlins, but I was obviously wrong!

I remember passing the Pontins in Blackpool about five years ago and thinking it was some kind of boot camp.

nothing wrong with Butlins we been to skegness few times
go for silver apartment nice and clean we always have good time there


i must agree on pontins not very nice but it was just a 2nights break in blackpool last year when lights were on

we're going to try butlins next year. this year we've put the butlins down as choices on a sun holiday tokens application but probably won't get them. if not we'll tag along with the rest of the family on their usual haven holiday. wherever we are we upgrade to silver just in case there have been pets in the lowest grade vans.

Just booked Butlins for the summer hols - 4 day weekend break - £400 for 4 of us - eeekk. But it's in Bognor and a Silver apt and I am praying that it isn't too bad. Never done one of these before but I'm trying to get expereince and observations of different hoilidays for my dissertation next year - I'm doing a Tourism degree - lol -

Loads of research needed hence - I'm going to Prague, Crete, Costa del Sol and Butlins - all in 1 year - phew!!

I'm really NOT looking forward to Spain though - I've never done a Costa before!!
