it's not sad at all, I've still got a Snoopy my aunt bought me when I was born that I treasure too and I'd be doing exactly the same as you in that situation..

shame they weren't willing to help (or possibly couldn't) :(

Where is it CG??? I'll go for £100 quid :D

Seems we all have a "special" teddy! Mine's called MUSHROOM MAN and is the only thing I have to remember my mum by too (she died when I just turned 9yrs)

My brother ripped its legs off when we were younger

Our old cat used to hump it!!!

And my dad spilt Festival Vat on it too!

It's been through the washing machine with its innards hanging out - but The Savage was over the moon when I passed it down to her last year :D

I thought I lost it many a time, so I understand how ya feeling.

perhaps you could "replace" it, (not the same I know) but I am sure ya mum and dad would rather you did that than feel sad :(

i contacted a lady found one that kinda looks like it (benjaman) on ebay 7.50 the lady i spoke to can make him look very simillar to my teddy (but wont be same but can try)
she is also sending me a teddy she restored 30 years ago which is worth alot of money she needs him to go to good home so she said i can have her people are so nice
so i have to buy this teddy from ebay so she can do minor changes . im quite relieved about that but still cant stop sobbing . my dad has been so helpful as he knows what it means to me.
im soo glad im not the only one who has a teddy
