    Debt at highest (November 2005) = £35,856

    Debt currently (August 2006) = £20,790
    &More £1,530, Egg £6,800, HSBC £3,760, Egg Loan £8,700

    Interim goal = £23,400 (Target: February 2006, Missed but acheived May 2006)
    2nd Interim Goal = £15,000, Target October 2006
    Debt Free Date = February 2008 BUT I'M GOING TO BE TRYING FOR SOONER!!! :p

    Thanks to everyone for the advice. Im going to have a rethink and see if there is another way around it.
    Maybe sell my house im in at the minute as im set to gain around 20 k profit at the least as i got it dirt cheap to start with.

    lots of figures to sort out i think !!

    Whilst selling up and moving into your renovation project will be inconvenient and a little slow-going, you will find it a lot cheaper and less risky than a second mortgage. It will also give you greater margin for error.

    If your profit isn't great, you've still got a beautiful home that's completely to your liking and a great sense of satisfaction when it's finished.

    Nice one. Tried taking your advice and you would have noticed that I've been quite for the last few days but I think I cant keep quite no longer.
