Please advise! Annual insurance expires just before hol end.

Hi all!
Could anyone advise on cheapest way to insure the last day of my US holiday (and the day I travel back) as my annual travel insurance will expire and I dont want to renew that as I don't intend to travel for a while after. I don't want to risk being uninsured with US costs and my current insurer won't extend.

Thanks in advance

Im not 100% but i would have thought you would need to renew the same policy or get a different one which covers the whole holiday.
  • Thanks for reply, Sturll. Was thinking that may be only way, but it's a lot of money for 2 days!

Could be a lot more if one of you fell ill or you had accident or were delayed or diverted!

As your insurer about a short extension to the policy - it may be possible, though no guarantees

I had that problem once and I had to buy a seperate single trip policy to cover the whole holiday.
