Sounds like another frazzled worker;) I have the same problem at work but it is usually my own doing. I take on too much stuff, add on organising extra social events for my oldies and then go:eek:    as i try and get it all completed on time. Somehow it always gets done on time - but I'm never quite sure how

Not much for me. Generally grumpy at the moment and even spending money doesn't seem to cheer me up. Yes, ladies and gentleman, here we are approaching the festive season and once again I'm in reflective (bad) mood!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

I have suggsted to the other half that we just buy a tiny present for opening on christmas day, but buy our main presents in the January sales. I think we could still save a few quid despite the fairly competitive prices at the moment.0

This might sound strange but today I have spent money in my DFW quest. I went on a one day marketing course tailored to my line of work. It was a real eye opener and I feel that if I put in the effort, my income can go up a very long way over the next year or two. The course was bought and paid for some weeks ago - before my LBM. However, the diesel for the round trip was about £35 - £40 (personal share £5 - £6).
When you're self-employed, sometimes it's like that. For example, a few weeks ago I paid £400 for a new piece of equipment - but I can work much faster now that I have it - leaving room to take on yet more work.0 -
