Asda Wii £157

I got 1 from asda instore today but it was 1 of 2 last ones, and then they were sold out,.

Will they get any more do you think? or is it, they didnt want to sell their whole stock at that price?

Don't suppose it was Asda Trafford was it? we got last one of 3 LOL.

Now I need to get some games to go with it cos it only came with the Sports one... my boy's want the Indianna Jones and the Fifa 2009,... jeez it's all so expensive innit! :eek:

no it was not trafford got mine from pilsworth, bury. some games seem cheap enough on ebay.

Ours was ordered for delivery today (Friday) and it just shows the status as 'Order Placed'.

Does the status ever change, as I've never ordered from them before?

It was delivered by CityLink yesterday morning.

I have just come from my local asda/walmart and asked the assistant if they were likely to get more stock in also I was after a CD and she told me that the supplier they use ( for cd`s and wii`s etc) went into administration yesterday, so she was unsure of what will be happening now.

Hi all, firstly a big thanks to Edinboroughlass and SpudGunner for your informative links. I've joined this site a result.
I managed finally to get a Wii from Tesco instore yesterday the deal including a free game is definately still on nationwide and shall remain so until the 4th of December. I spent over 2 hours on the phone to customer services and having spoke to several managers who claimed they never heard of the deal they finally agreed. Customer service was awful but you if you stick to your guns they'll honour the deal. I chose Wii play so got Wii Console, Wii Sports, Two controllers, one numchuck, and Wii play disc all for about £175. (They've amended the VAT) plus clubcard points and a five pence per litre fuel saving voucher! All in all the best deal around for the Wii unless anyone knows better? Happy shopping all.

There were 3 in my local ASDA on Friday and managed to get one for £157 (with Wii sports) which I think is the best I've seen it! Amazon price has gone back down to to £169 and you can choose a game for an extra tenna, but theres not much choice.

I checked the Tesco store that knew nothing about the offer yesterday and they now have the games marked as being free if bought with a console so the offer is there provided the store has the stock. I was lucky enough to be able to pick up the Wii Fit when I bought mine, I couldn't quite believe it when I saw they had them in stock
