Download MALWAREBYTES
http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&!!!!!button
UPDATE and QUICK SCAN
Post the log here AFTER youve deleted anything it finds
PC Guard is junk.
Id suggest using AVAST or AVIRA in its place along with a decent firewall
(PC Tools, Zonealarm or Comodo):idea:0 -
Avast here also (but can't say the virus checker is fast - quite the opposite in fact)

I have always used Avast or AVG. They are both free to use the basic versions, and I have never had any complaints about eitherThere are 10 kinds of people that understand binary

Have a read of the following thread for a discussion of Anti-Virus software. To summarise I'd say my choice for a free AV is Avira AntiVir.
My choice for a paid AV would either be ESET NOD32 or Kaspersky with, for me, NOD32 winning.

I put Kaspersky on a PC to replace NOD32, and it found 356 viruses that NOD had missed.
I agree about Malwarebytes, superb program.
If you decide to go the Kaspersky route, buy the all-in-one 'Security Suite' Edition, as this is cheaper than the anti-virus on its own (could never work out why though)Never Knowingly Understood.

I'd go with avast...on a par with avira but includes an e-mail scanner which, last time I looked, avira doesn't.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

...have also used AVG and Sophos (often a corporate anti-virus install): BUT as I say, have yet to find a virus checker (when forced I mean) that checks the system quickly - avast and avg and sophos (painfully) slow:)BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON?
