is this a good deal for a budget pc

i think my pc has died, so i need a cheap replacement,all i use it for is abit of surffing the net,emails,and compiling my work in excel.

    i went on the dell outlet site and just bought a inspiration 530 pentium duel core 2.2ghz, 3gig ram and 320gb hd, for £220 delivered :beer: free delivery and a £50 off voucher, i snapped it up before someone else did.
  • thats a great price, it the vat that kills most of the 'bargins' on the dell outlet

    dont really get why its so cheap, i just used the configuration on the dell site and if ordered it with that spec it comes out at £389. Why is it so much cheaper from the dell outlet site?
  • well it says "This is product, which has been returned to Dell for a variety of reasons such as cancellations and specification changes and is limited in quantity."

    and I guess they just 'don't do' stock

    The outlet site usually is stuff that's been built to order but, for whatever reason, hasn't been sold. Some great bargains crop up there from time to time...
