PDA Bluetooth Connection?

Can someone tell me if it is possible to connect a PDA (Acer N30 ) via BlueTooth to my PC? if so HOW does one go about it. It does not auto detect the internet connection, but maybe this is due to my having a static IP address?
I can however connect via BlueTooth to my local folders on my PC and Vice Versa.
I do not have a Network Card as yet................ could this be the problem?
I would be very grateful for some help.
