Renault Modus question(bit stupid but urgent)

Hi, firstly let me say sorry for this inane question but if anyone can help me it would save me a load of grief.
My DH has a hire car Renault Modus it is an 08 model. Anyway, he can't find the bonnet clip and this is causing some problems. Has anybody any ideas? I know htis is a pathetic question but HELP????????

Have you found the thing to pull inside? or are you looking for the bit under the bonet?
I don't have a modus0 -
usally below the steering wheel or glove box

Just need to get into the so**ing engine to put so**ing oil into the so**ing car. We don't have a Modus either-we have a 17 year old car. This is to do with work.

whats wrong with it for it to need oil, if it was not my car i would leave it for someone else to sort out (dont drive it though if you think it needs oil)0

Renaults being "foreign" have the internal release in the wrong place, ie in the left hand/passenger side under the dash. NOT WHERE YOU WOULD EXPECT, ie drivers side.
There should be a pull release either in the grill if it's anything like other Rennys,:beer:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

There WAS a manual just not where you would expect it to be!-it was velcroed in a folder type thing to the underside of the passenger seat???!!!
