    Lol Yes you mean the
NG Direct Saving Feels Good Competition
Well I have Ing accounts with a total of £8 saved and the only thing that would make me feel good about them would be -:

    1) A decent interest rate.
    2) A proper compensation scheme rather than the *discredited Passport scheme.

    * After being involved in the Icesave fiasco I won't be saving with anyone who offers less then the full FSCS comp scheme, no matter how many images they let me upload!

Probably because they ask existing customers to call an 0845 number, whereas potential customers are allowed to dial an 0800 one. But don't worry, the website gives a Reading number to call.

Anyway, I'm still finding their six-month web saver bonus promotion a useful place to store excess cash.

Yes I was fobbed off when I rang the 0800 number couple of month ago to close my 2007/2008 ISA (hadn't used full limit so wasn't worth it) and was told to ring the 0845.

It's also funny how I got answered straight away on the 0800 but on hold for 5 minutes on the Reading/0845 number!
