Sony Satnav Troulble.

Hi peeps,

I have a Sony Satnav (NV U73T) The thing is, I have not used it for a couple of months. I connected it to my laptop yet it won't seem to charge. All I have on the screen is a pic of the laptop with an arrow to the battery, thing is, after a couple of hours on charge the battery still says only 1 out of 6 bars are charged.

Now I hoping that one of these clever people here might no what is going on, if not, does anyone have the support number for Sony? I have been searching for ages and not had any luck

Charge it in your car, the battery needs lots of current to recharge from flat and probably not getting it from your laptop.

Just changed car and although new car has an ashtray, there is no lighter to charge anything!!

Lol, i used to work in motor trade so i thought i might be able to tell him if there is one in the car somewhere (to be fair sometimes they are in ridiculous places.) Or if not an alternative way of getting a power source into the car

It's a Nova.

Trust me, there's a space for one but when I removed the cover, an empty hole :mad:

Lets try this, anyone no where I can get the mains adaptor or a USB connecter for one of these satnavs Sony NV-U73T?

Not on-line though, I need it today.
