18185 shock

I have been billed via credit card which is all in date etc by 18185. Suddenly, I can not use their service because of a "Payment problem" with my card. I look into my account with them online and it shows I have not been billed since Aug 28th and I now owe £61 due to be invoiced which is accumulating.

Why have they been letting me use the service when the payments stopped going out 3 months ago, surely I have a case for not paying as they didn't let me know?

Obviously there is nobody to talk to from 18185 so any advise will help.

Thanks.

The responsibility to pay the outstanding debt remains with you. The fact they didn't bring it to your attention is irrelevant. If one payment method doesn't work, you have to switch to another, but the end result remains, you are expected to pay for your usage - this also applies even if there is a DD set-up and they don't collect. YOU still have to pay if they don't take the money.
