Dont forget that the VAT on something is 17.5%
But the VAT in something is 15%, so dont go mad with the check out person if they only take 15% off.

Example £10 + VAT (10 + 17.5%) = £11.75
£11.75 - VAT (11.75 - 15%) = £9.99

I dont mean to imply people people are stupid or anything, I just wanted to make it clear, so people dont expect 17.5% off thier bill (unless of course Asda state 17.5% off).

As you can see, loads of other goodies but i thought this was a great price for the Wii

It has nothing to do with the cut in the VAT rate.
