tbh it's not really much of a bother. I was here anyway. And it helps me work my way towards my 1,000th post. God knows why, but it feels like an achievement. All that rubbish, all that typing.Don't bother responding. WinterSunshine is an obvious multi-account troll.
Bonus points for working out previous/alternate accounts.
I've largely given up trying to work out whose alias is who - end up going mad otherwise.0 -

Mewbie, I could be your 1000 post, or it could be any of my previous encranations.;)
I dont think their is many people who use multi accounts but their are some odd posters who just post support for people.
A bit like forum self help groups.:D0 -

I do have a point though, don't I?;) This board is full of double standards and we are entitled to fight back - even if it's just on behalf of Krusty and Phil - who in reality are no better or worse than most posters on this board.0 -
The problem is, if everyone refuses to buy repos then the debt owed by the defaulter is much bigger. I suppose that's ok if the defaulter is a baby eating BTLer but what it the house was owned by a Hard Working Family ((c) All Politicians)?
Also, as that nice Mr Brown has agreed that the British taxpayer will make good the losses of all British banks, it'll cost a few quid in taxes somewhere down the line.0 -

Like I said, ignore the multi-accounting trolls.
The fact that if I bid it might boost prices up from say £73k to £76k is quite beyond them.0 -
I really am missing why it's bad to BTL... I mean, people critisise people in council houses, then critisise those who buy homes thay can not really afford and tell them to rent... only not council houses.... so who is going to provide houses for rent to all those people who should not be staying in council houses and should not be buying houses either...

Anyway, I'm as confused with all this as I am with the great 'stay at home mother - go to work mother - work part time mother - just dont have kids' debate.
Can't please everyone.0 -
Unlike Kirstie & Philip, I don't think anyone on this forum has ever encouraged millions of people to get into the misery of negative equity??? :rolleyes:wintersunshine wrote: »even if it's just on behalf of Krusty and Phil - who in reality are no better or worse than most posters on this board.0 -

The posters on this board have gone on ad nauseam about how the BTLers have priced the FTBers out of a home. Apparently BTLers are no better than baby eating monsters. People who have posted these posts have been THANKED ad nauseam and I have never seen anyone try to defend BTLers until NOW when same said posters are all considering getting a BTL empire. It's just greed - as I said no better that Krusty and Phil. In fact worse than Krusty and Phil 'cos you do get a sense that they are in it for enjoyment not just the money.0 -

TBH I don't disagree with anything you say, it's the hypocrisy of this board that gets me. People in glass houses and all that...0
