Icesave - 3rd eMail ??????

After waiting 3 weeks from my 1st mail received 2nd today and apparently initiated my claim. I am however, 5 hours after the event, still able to log on to my account. The web pages state very categorically that you will NOT be able to do so after initiating your claim ?????? Contacting FSCS they state you will know all OK when you receive your 3rd eMail confirming successful claim. This is the first I have heard of this final eMail even this far down the line. Have other claimants received this 3rd notification mail.

Yes, it's been mentioned many times in the various threads. it can take 24 hours to show up apparently. there is also a dwell time between making a claim and being prevented from logging in again. Don't worry just yet!

This happened to me too and I was very disconcerted - you just have to wait a bit (as with everything to do with this process).

Yes, mine arrived about 12 hours after the claim.

Yes i received a 3rd and final email confirming the initiation has been successful about 30 minutes after i'd clicked initiate & confirm.

Don't forget to check your junk mail box.

Initiated the claim at approx 1845 yesterday and the 3 confirmation emails came through overnight

I initiated my claim yesterday about 7.00pm without second email, cannot now log back in but still havent received confirmation email. Did get a printout of final screen with account no, claim date and account balance with a couple of paragraphs stating they had received my instructions. So am hoping all goes through ok.

Initiated my claim 19.30 yesterday 3rd email arrived 12.30 today, so it seems that an overnight wait is quite possible. I haven't bothered to attempt another login as I would like to see as little as possible of IceSave's logo from now on! I did print statements and the confirmation pages before logging off, just in case...
