Please can anyone advise the best course of action, i ve been made redundant and have a little savings.Is it best to put all or part expenditure on
a credit card so to get at least 30 days before paying back the minimum amount in the hope that i get a job in the next 6 months.And what happens when you dont have the money to pay the credit card company back they cant take your house off you can they?

I wouldn't advise building debt up on a credit card if you don't have a job to pay it back (been there done that) or spending on plastic in the hope you "might" get a job in the next 6 months.
If I was you I would cut back on non essentials and check which benefits you are able to claim.
