Help! Where can I get travel money from?

I was intending to order my Slovakian Korunas from the Post Office, but they have made their minimum order value £350!!! I don't need that much.
I found Travelex, but they are nowhere near me. I tried Thomas Cook, but they don't have Slovakian Korunas on their site and the contact us facility is broken. I don't have an M&S nearby with a Bureau d'Exchange.
I'm flying from Stansted but can't find any information on their site about what money-changing facilities are actually at the airport.
I'm starting to panic now - where on earth can I get the money from? I don't want to land in the country penniless and rely on finding cash points in the middle of night.

Have you thought about trying a bank?0

The airport where you land will have a cash point. You can confirm before you go but most have at least one. I always get cash out in the country I am travelling to as then you don't have to carry large sums of money around.

No I hadn't thought of trying a bank. Can you normally get foreign currency from banks then? Do you order it, or do they just have it there?0

You can if the branch in question has a foreign currency counter.
I would think the currency you require would need ordering as I can't imagine it is popular enough for most places to keep in stock.
I don't know if you can order foreign currency for delivery to any branch, regardless of whether they have a foreign exchange counter or not.0 -
Re: Travelex Can you collect at the airport you're flying from?
As long as it's more than 24 hours (I think) in advance you can order from travelex to collect at the airport.
Just show the card you are paying on and your passport to collect.2 Tickets to Blackrock Masters Tennis:j0 -

the £350 minimum order is only for online purchase, you can order less if you pop into a PO branch0 -
Thanks all, some really helpful bits there. Looks like I might go back to my first plan and go to the post office if the £350 is an online only thing. Phew!0

There's a least 2 Travelex branches at Stansted, one landside and one airside in the main terminal, then I think there may be more in the satellite terminals. But anyways, they will rip you off. Look up on visa.com to see if there's an ATM in the airport where you arrive in Slovakia.0 -
