hello, i have been reading this thread with great interest and finally plucked the courage to post a reply, i have looked in 3 local boots including the larger boots in Bath, but i have had no luck at all. would any one be kind enough to send me some vouchers please. I am arranging raffle for my daughters school for a Burns night we are having, so i could put togther a great pamper kit. many thanks.
  • I got some leaflets today but they have no products in store - knowing my luck the promotion will run out before they get the products back in stock. But i will keep checking - fingers crossed.

I wondered that myself..I would presume that Martin would be highly supportive, afterall, his main aim is for us to be moneysavers. I think his stance is that these multi million companies will survive through the occasional loophole/promotion error. Through the TD/DR promotion, a lot of us have given Boots more business by purchasing other products while in store.

Whether some of us "bought" 1 item, 10 items or even 150 items is irrelevant IMO. We all saved money at the end of the day.

I would be interesting to hear his viewpoint and those of other MSE'ers

Boots, Chatham this morning - Time Delay aisle blocked off with cages. Asked assistant where Time Delay products were and was told they had been removed for "re-merchandising"....

Lots of lovely candles though. Getting bold, as this is probably my last chance to get aromatherapy stuff, I took three to the checkout in one go and presented 3 coupons. All three candles went through as free using just one coupon so the assistant handed me back the other 2. Dont you just LOVE those saturday girls, and all this FREE STUFF. :D

The last promotion was 150 points on everyday indulgence bath range: today I noticed it was on a clearance shelf! Makes you wonder if they WANT us to clear their old stock out to make room for new? In fact, if its a cheap way of advertising, like the previous poster I always end up buying extra stuff due to the offers. Until I discovered MSE I hadnt been in Boots for years, now I'm a Bootsaholic and spend quite a bit. I now have a huge makeup collection where I used to manage with three or four items. I dont think we should feel too guilty, supply and demand stops most of us getting more than a few freebies during a promotion.

Just been and done Parkgate Boots - loads of leaflets still left. I picked up 2 DR Hand sets on BOGOF and so 2 sets worth £8.99 each for £3.99 plus voucher. Also EA with SEL of £1 (which with voucher should have been free) scanned at 50p - so they paid me to buy it. Then I went back in and got a TD cleansing lotion for free, and a EA sensous bath elixer on clearance at £1.99, and so 99p with voucher. Then presented 100 extra AC points voucher for a purchase from the pure range which was a 39p soap on BOGOF.
I ouwld have liked to have used to £3 off No 7 skincare voucher, but a begrudged paying a relatively large amount (in comparison to the TD deal) of cash as the difference. So, Thank You Boots!!! Another productive day.

PS loads of vouchers and products left in the store.

I agree. But find it really strange in one of my local Boots I could not find any TD handcream love it by the way. Anyway went in there yesterday and there was about 20 boxes of it all with reduced stickers on

Go figure that out. Makes no sense. And the vouchers are still valid until the 31st of the month.

Also boots have had a little money out of me. I spend over £16 in there the other day on presents for the year. Did get a packet of TD wipes for free as well as using a double point voucher and certain spend ones. And a No7 voucher back.

Husband spent £15 in there other day on TD cream (£5 off), Botanics BOGOF and No7 trio of eyeshadows (£5 off) and a few other things as well as getting another No7 voucher. Which I spent on a tanless system and another TD freebie so it cost £1 for the items I had. So it has been a bit of both. Me paying for items and them giving it to me for free.

But the items will all be used up by me and has allowed me lovely things for free or next to nothing.

Mind you they have me drawn in to there No7 Makeup which is really nice so they will keep me as a customer even after all these freebies are gone. But only when on offer :rotfl:

Just a shame my local does not a AD card machine  Can't win them all.

    Yours
