I have got some of the mask....put it to one side for OH's daughter as she likes them. It'll end up as an extra pressie for her. Good to know that its nice.

BOots were always going to clamp down at some point on the leaflets. I do have a few left. I'm missing a few bits for my 'skincare kit pressie' for step daughter. I'll find them....one way or the other.

I also got some leaflets from Boots Manchester Market Street on Saturday - plenty of TD stock too.

Off topic - loads of final reductions on Christmas stock too.

Not one of these comments again! So what that you already use time delay products? It gives you no right to whinge about the situation and say that people shouldnt take it to extremes thus 'spoiling it for everyone'. Boots have just made a daft offer and people are taking advantage, just like you want to with your ten leaflets!!!!! Its a simple case of being lucky whether you get stuff, so please stop blaming other people. Boots were always going to clamp down on this offer regardless of whether a few people used lots of vouchers, or lots of people used a few vouchers each.

    heare! hear! :)

yep when i phoned the customer care line the woman told me that from thursday onwards the stores will have removed all of the vouchers so stock up! and there will be instore signage saying 'one per customer' on the td and dr as well apparently so also stock up!

It was good while it lasted, my own store had said that a huge mistake was made and the vouchers should have stated "one per customer" - that will teach them to proof-read :rotfl:

hi, i posted that reply, cheers for bringing it over here too.

thats what iwas told by a customer services woman over teh phone on saturady.

i dunno if anyone else has been told nayothing different?

thanx i know where the boots is in trafford centre (been there gettiung me freebies quite a few times now!) was just wondering how to walk over to the boots on the retail park you were talking about? im on a bus btw. thanx very much! :)

Soz, having a "D'oh" moment (aka life). If you are on the bus then the 22 or 23 from the Trafford Centre terminus would be the quickest and I think it would be the 1st stop out, could even possibly be the 2nd. Either way it's just past the motorway roundabout on the right-hand side. Slightly too far to walk on a lunch break.

Just posted this on the Boots Grabbit thread & thought I'd put it on this as well.

I was in a Boots this morning (8.30ish) to get some painkillers & grabbed a TD wipe to go through at the same time.

In front of a very lond queue was a woman trying to put through some TD stuff. I couldn't really see what the problem was for a while, only that the queue was v long. It turned out she had put through about 8 TD stuff as individual transactions and wanted to tyr and get another 15 in as seperate transactions. She was v rude & 'knew her rights', when asked rather politely to let some others through the queue.

I know that MSErs are lovely polite people who don't take the mick & there was nothing to say that she has ever been on this board, but I felt for the Sales Assistant.

So to end, good luck with getting as much TD stuff (no DR in South London for some reason!) but pls be nice to all MoneySavers! AND to all Sales assistants too!

  • There are loads of leaflets in the Wigston ( leicestershire) branch, a few in Oadby(leics) and there are plenty of products on the shelves at around £5.

I got 4 items from each branch and bought a starter pack for £4.99.

I hope this is helpfull to someone.

Boots at Chatham this morning: any under £5 Time Delay stuff that they have left has been taken off the Time Delay stand and put on the individual display areas (i.e. the hand and nail cream is with all the other nail creams). No face wipes, cleanser or toner. Managed to get nail cream and eye cream (sent daughter through with nail cream so as to only get one item per person).

The orange blossom and bergamot candles are hidden away on the bottom shelf and have no price code next to them. Had to get mine scanned to ensure it was only 74p.

    Plenty of leaflets left.

Does anybody reckon the candles will last till christmas, or shall I indulge myself? To be honest, at 74p each I was tempted to stock up for next christmas as they look much more expensive than that.
