Despite moaning that I couldnt find any leaflets yesterday, I then went into Boots at Green Park (for those of you in the area) picked up a stack of leaflets and managed to get 6 items (although I had two pay 50p extra on two items and £1 extra on one item), then I went to Boots at Tooting Broaday and bought a further 4 items (all free!!).

    It feels wrong doesnt it??

ive just been in boots, and they are doing a 3 for 2 offer on the time delay, so i bought 3 products all priced at £5 each, got one free and then used coupon to get another £5 off so i payed £5 for 3 products-excellent. and even more bonus, because i bought another couple of items, i spent over £15 so got a £5 off no7 voucher. so i then went back to the till with a £9.00 mascara, another £5 off time delay, and got the mascara and time delay mascara that was £10.50, both for £9.50, what a result!!

Remember that with the 3 for 2 offer, it's still best to put the 3 items thru as separate transactions and use a voucher to get £5 off each one. In that case you'll not have to pay anything at all for them. :)

(All depends on whether you've got 3 vouchers with you obviously!)

  • i went to boots in nottm vic centre couldn't find any leaflets, good job i took some with me, i got three TD items went to cash desk and asked her to do them separatly, she did, as she was doing then another SA leaned over to her and said i'll tell you more later but that offer is all over the internet, i looked surprized and the lady gave me my stuff, i left quickly, so i dunno if they will be stopping the offer or just hiding the leaflets.
    Another day another R&R

I am allergic to fragrance (perfume) - Could you please take 2 seconds to check in the ingredients lists of your free time delay products and tell me whether they contain perfume so I don't have a wasted trip! I know the wipes have fragrance in, but what about the other free products?
    Thank you :)

The Rejuvenating Day moisturiser spf 8 also has perfume in.
  • On my second attempt yesterday Boots wouldn't accept the vourcher for anything other than the item shown on the actual voucher (an eye cream but you can't really tell that from the picture). Said their manager told them it couldn't be used for anything else. Booo hisss.....
I have to get back to work, when I stop rowing the slaveship goes round in circles.

i'd write a letter of compaint about that to head office. there's nothing on the voucher which states that it's only for the pictured products.

That's rubbish. If the `Manager' thinks he right, ask him to scan the product then scan the voucher. Then stand there with a smug grin on your face. I've got loads of free stuff for my wife with the vouchers - wipes, cleansers etc. The stores still seem to be refilling the leaflets daily :j
  • Went into Burnley Boots yesterday and picked up 35 leaflets, thats all they had, went again this morning got some time delay wipes and a further 6 vouchers!!
