Announced today by the Minister for Europe, External Affairs and CUlture, Linda Fabiani.

Free entry for all to selected sites owned by Historic Scotland. They have over 300 sites but 47 will be free entry this weekend (Sat 29th Nov and Sun 30th Nov) to celebrate St. Andrews Day.

Sites included in the free entry include Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, Skara Brae, Melrose Abbey, Iona Abbey and Bothwell Castle.

Well worth going to any of their sites if you are interested as its usually an expensive day out for a family.
