How do I save a desktop screenshot as a jpg?

Options
I know this is probably very simple  , and I have done it in the past...but I've forgotten how to!

How do I save a screenshot so that I can open as a jpg? So that I can save to a webpage or pdf. I know to press the print/screen/sys key and paste to Word but I can't seem to convert it from Word to a jpg.

Thanks in advance :money: .

Paste it into a photo editing package and save as a jpeg.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 but most will do this easily
You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.
