What's wrong with my shower?

It's an electric shower that's about 3 years old and was working fine till the other week. It stopped mid shower and now won't work at all. The lights on showing low pressure but my dad's checked it out (carpenter and jack of all trades) but can't figure out what the fault could be. No blockages etc.

Any ideas? I really can't afford to buy another shower at the moment but it's driving me mad having to wash long hair in the bath everyday!!!

hiya! what make is your shower? and when on does it sound like it wants to work but you get no water? or does it not work at all, and there is a smell of electrical burning ect,

let us know and we may be able to give better advise!!
