I reckon in a few months time most of the cashback offers will either be gone or reduced to an even lower rate
Your better using discout codes to purchase from CD Wow, just got a CD for £6.75. Using the cashback links can often be more expensive.0 -

Indeed, yes. Quidco also give 4% cashback. I was just highlighting the fact that Egg seem to be removing offers when they like without informing their customers

And just when I've been accepted an Egg Money card! Damn!charlie12 wrote:It appears that Egg have reduced the cashback offers for Apple and Currys from 10% to 5%.
Still [feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!], if you go through Quidco to use Apple, you can get 3% from them and then I assume 5% from Egg???, and for Currys you can get 2% from Quidco and then 5% from Egg...
Still doesn't add up to the 10% they were offering but it's better than a poke in the eye with sharp stick!
Over and out...

I think they've recently removed Apple in the last day or so.
Again, they failed to inform customers. I am sure that they will continue to reduce or remove offers until there are none left. Egg are literally begging customers to leave!0 -
There is an excellent offer at the moment for 75% off airport lounges.
This means paying about £4-£5 instead of about £20.
You get unlimited drinks in most of them, some of them have food as well.
Nice place to sit that's air conditioned, smoke free, free newspapers, TV, internet etc. and there are usually no kids in them (although the facilities vary so you have to check).
Personally I think you are likely to spend that much on soft drinks in the airport/plane so I think it's an absolute bargain.
(I usually take some bottles/canned water for the flight).
Even better if you want to drink alchohol (and I'm a bit scared of flying so it helps).
This is a really good offer in my opinion.0 -
I think all this indicates to me is that EggMoney is one of those deals that they can't sustain and they are probably going to withdraw it quietly. It's certainly not prominent on their main site anymore - their regular card is on the front page. It seemed too good to be true at the time.0

Interestingly - on the priviledge page - there is a box on the left hand side which reads "Egg Rewards - Coming soon ... watch this space".
Dunno what that could mean - might mean they'll ditch cashback in favour of a points program like AmEx charge cards.
