    After Monday's disastrous budget I'm sad to say that the best investment strategy for the current economy seems to be a one-way ticket to somewhere else.
    As a retired person whose investments have dived and whose savings are becoming increasingly worthless in terms of the interest rate they can attract, I cannot visualise any investment medium which will bring a satisfactory return in the medium term economic climate.

    Snap... I was gonna say put my £s in another currency & leave the country before they decide to directly plunder the private sectors savings accounts and hand the proceeds to public sector pensioners...:angry:
