Hey Moneysavingallday, I think it might be a blessing in disguise - remember the Advance card does not have a 56-day interest free credit, you pay interest immediately!
I also felt you might be doing too much credit searches in a short period of time - I think you applied for HSBC's loan and credit card, and also a Barclays' current account?
