Iceland

Hello

I am going to Iceland on Sunday and with all the recent issues surrounding the Icelandic Kroner I have been unable to get hold of any. One agent told me to take Stirling with me?? Can I use Stirling or will I need to exchange it once there?? Any suggestions??

Also I plan to go on excursions whilst there, will I be in a good position to haggle on rates ??

Thanks

Your best bet will be to take "Sterling" with you and change it for "Krona" while you are there - or use an ATM :D:D
  • As the country is desperate and practically bankrupt I suppose you would be in a good position to haggle - but it would be kicking a man while he is down.
