Should I cancel my Woolworths order?

Have a DVD on pre-order from Woolworths and with all that is happening with them just now, dont want to lose the money so should I cancel? They are not even advertising it now on the website.

I wouldnt panic just yet, i dont think its all doom and gloom. I have a dvd on order, and the girls in our local woolies seem quite confident everything is going to be ok.

Woolworths pre order doesnt actually take money from your account til the item is dispatched so if it goes pete tong you wont have actually paid .
I ordered a dvd a while back and it was out of stock and wasnt charged til it was dispatched.Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,

It's worth noting that the website is down 'for maintenance' but this is exactly what the MFI website said shortly before it was closed down for good. It could be worth phoning Woolworth's customer service to find out the status of your orders. Try one of the following numbers.....

I have been trying to cancel soinc unleashed, which I pre-ordered for yesterday. I tried ringing their customer services and was basically told they cant do anything until the website is up and running. The guy told me just to keep checking for the websites return!
Tried again this morning and the same grey screen out is still appearing.
However when I googled the site the first result shows the grey message, but the second one takes you straight to the site and i was able to cancel the order!
I am not very good at posting links but hopefully it will work. HTH

My DH rang around 3 supermarkets last night for a game for our DS and was told because of the problems with woolies they hadnt had any new games in he was told the same thing by Asda,Morrisons and Tesco apparantly all supplied by Woolies supplier.So it looks like all will be affected it was strange how they all told us the same thing.0

Woolworths supply the games and CD;s etc to the supermarkets

Just thought I'd let people know so you can make up your own minds,I ordered a giant peppa pig toy on the 22nd Nov. I had an email on the 26th to say it had been despatched on the 25th it has still not arrived. When I logged into my Woolies account it said order had been fulfilled.
I have emailed them and I am waiting a response but I really don't hold out much hope.:(0 -
I order some dvds, 3 have been dispatched, only 2 have been received, when I called to chase it, they said their systems are down and can't trace it and need to ring back next week. They have taken my money and not fufilled the order, eventhough it says fulfilled on my online account. I also have two more pre orders on my account, but dunno whether to cancel them or not?0
