Hey - I got a letter back about my PPI as well saying I'd been sold correctly.. they said I can take it to the FO so that's what I'm going to do though! It's annoying as I did try and cancel it a couple of years ago but they never did and I don't have the proof that I did anymore!! Still - I'm going to keep sending the letters and go as far as I can with it - I didn't even know I had PPI until a couple of years ago, I've been unemployeed and just not paid my cards before!!!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

Well the guy at capital on point blank refused to let me cancel said that it would cost me more to cancel that to let it runTOTAL: (1.9.2008) £[strike]20,971.00[/strike] (02.12.10)£11,006.07£9,262.93 Paid off (Since LBM)Debt Free Date [strike]2021[/strike] 2015Savings £100 Dec NSD 11/20, Sealed pot challenger 1043:xmassign:0

I have always refused PPI and to my knowledge I don't have any - but I thought they acted as a kind of insurance policy. So why would cancelling cost more than keeping it? Saying that though, my OH tried to cancel his PPI and instead they lowered his interest rate?? Strange - gonna get him to try and cancel the PPI again and see what happens!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
