cheap hotel accomodation for the may bank holiday in manchester??

hey all im looking to find a cheap hotel central for the may bank holiday 09 in manchester - 30th april thursday - tuesday 5th may, best i can do at the moment is at travelodge ancoats where 3 nights would be £19 and 2 would be £69 (the friday and saturday being £69) If anyone knows any deals or better way to go about it then please let me know. I know there's a place called International hotel which does rooms for £35 and is closer to the center as far as i can make out that this ancoats hotel is. Not too apparent with what hotels are close by the center to try for deals
