Router / Connection Help required

Hi,

I am trying to connect a internet satellite receiver to my router.

My PC and router are upstairs and my satellite receiver are downstairs.

How do I do it?

I have a Netgear DG834v2 router.

My satellite receiver has an ethernet port.

Do I use an access point like a Netgear wg602v4?

All help gratefully received.

Cheers
