What is your favourite luxury hand cream please?

Many thanks everyone for your replies :beer: . I'll try and track them down this weekend - hopefully they will have testers! I wouldn't have know where to start without your help. I'm not very good at working out which ones are expensive because they're good, or for other reasons.

Not sure if you still want suggestions, but I would recommend Clinique's Water Therapy or another vote for Liz Arden's 8 hour hand cream (though for me the tube doesn't last very long).

One thing to bear in mind when buying creams for older women is that we all get drier skin as we age, so if you try something out yourself it might feel too rich and greasy on your skin but may well be fine on theirs.

I second Molton Brown. Love the brand and is such a nice thing to receive as a gift.

Otherwise 8 hour cream in the hand cream version is great.

Any Clarins counter will give you a sample or massage some in to your hands for you to try. You can go away and return later if you decide to buy.

Any of the L'Occitane ones. Personally I prefer the Cherry Blossom flavour but all down to preference.

Rich but not greasy and gets a hard working Mum's hands nice and soft (till the next pile of washing up!!!):D

I love body shops Hemp hand cream!!! It's relatively cheap compared to some suggested here though lol

Boots Baby Bottom Balm (turquoise lid and white tube...maybe expert range?) is the ONLY thing I use on my hands:rotfl: No, Really!! It is GORGEOUS stuff and leaves your hands soft and not greasy....but I'm guessing that isn't going to help your plight, sorry...
