I really can't recommend anyone buying from these.

I ordered the Michel Thomas Advanced French CDs on 9th November and on 25th November received cassettes, and not CDs as ordered. Account was debited on 18th November. 'Phoned immediately and was promised correct order would be sent and be with me in a few days. Nothing has arrived and I 'phoned this morning to be told they are expecting a delivery on Friday.

I've cancelled the order and demanded a refund.

The annoying thing is you pay them 9p per minute for making complaints. It's about time NG numbers were stopped.

They are slightly cheaper than Amazon.com but their service is nowhere as good, so I'll now order from Amazon.

    i used them, and they been fine. sad to hear they let you down.
  • I complained directly to the Daily Telegraph at Canary Wharf and they have been most helpful. Unfortunately, BVG, the company who supply for the DT are useless. They told DT that a return label had been sent last Wednesday. Still not arrived on Monday.

    'Phoned DT again to complain and return label arrived yesterday - posted first class mail on Monday.

    Despite cancelling the order, and BVG confirming the receipt of the cassettes, I have still not received a refund.

    I have received three e-mails saying that the CDs have been despatched and I can't have a refund until I return them. Here are two of them:

    "Thank you for your recent order.

    I can confirm for you that your order was despatched out to you on the 9th of December.

    Your order will be with you within 5 to 10 days of the despatch date stated above.

    If your order has not been received within the 10 days of the above date please let me know and I will arrange for the order to be resent for you. We can not resend any items until the 10 days has past.

    Please accept our apologies for any delay caused in fulfilling your order."

    "Sorry ignore the last one, a bit trigger happy today.

    I apologise but we cannot cancel the order as it has been despatched, once it is received you can return it for a full refund."
