How to transfer video to dvd

Ive just found a video of my daughter when she was little and in the school christmas play, and i was wondering if i would be able to transfer the video tape to dvd, i have a video player and a dvd recorder, what else do i need?

You would need a blank recordable DVD disc for your recorder (ie DVD+R or DVD-R depends on the DVD recorder, check it's manual) and a SCART lead.
Conect a SCART lead from the video player output to a DVD recorder input connector.
On the DVD recorder select which SCART INPUT you are using (ie AV1 or AV2 or Ext1 etc) with the remote.
Press Play on the Video player and then press Record on the DVD recorder.
Then to finish you need to FINALISE the disc in the DVD recorder (best to check the manual on how to do this).
That's it really. The DVD recorder manual should help a lot and take you step by step on how to record from an external video source.
