Anyone here signed up for any of the Stanley Gibbons products? I got the info through in the post yesterday, looks like a very interesting minimal risk, guaranteed return with unlimited upside investment. I'd like to hear people's experiences using them though - customer service, communication quality, problems, issues, unexpected things etc.
Mmmm, credit crunch. Tasty.

I looked at this previously but to be honest I think at the time the min investment was around 10K and I didn't think of that as minimal risk? The subject matter interests me but would have to be at a lower level - can I ask where you requested info from them?Mortgage when started October 2011 : £94,134
Total mortgage balance Mar 2016 [STRIKE]£78,417[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£77,523[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£76,181[/STRIKE] £72,001

The docs I have say the absolute minimum is £5k, with a recommended minimum of £10k. I don't think the amount of capital investment makes it risky. Using their 5 year example in the brochure you're guaranteed a minimum 25% return over 5 years (they do 3, 5 and 10 year contracts) and unlimited upside, with the usual random claims of 698% historic gains etc. They say there are no storage or management fees, free advice at the end of the term and if you want to go to auction they'll do that for you as well.
It all sounds very good, almost too good, which is why I'm curious for people's opinions. The only risk seems to be that they're based in Guernsey, but as your contract buys you a physical investment you can simply take it away if they went under.
Not sure what you're asking here?can I ask where you requested info from themMmmm, credit crunch. Tasty.0
